IF IT DOESN’T CHALLENGE YOU, IT DOESN’T CHANGE YOU

About Me

ART IS ART

As a young introvert girl, pushing my way through elementary school and high school, I would spend most of the time I should have spent on reading my homework basically just watching people. Silently observing and studying my classmates, teachers and the unknown passers-by’s faces and characteristics. Sounds a bit dull? Well, I always - and to this day still do - found myself extremely fascinated by the diversity of otherwise seemingly similar creatures.

My name is Katrine Kratz, now a 22 year old girl - still slightly introvert but increasingly extrovert. I deeply believe that if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you. I am intrigued by the industry and the life long dream about waking up every day doing this - creating.  And I have never been more hooked on grabbing my pen and drawing the heck out of it. So with my growing passion for doing and creating what I love, I now present to you my art. Enjoy.

Why Work With Me

PORTRAITS • ILLUSTRATIONS • LIFE SKETCHES

As earlier mentioned I am extremely passionated and motivated about doing this as a hobby, but most definitely also as a way of living in the hopeful future. I believe in personal growth and I always strive to improve myself and become better at what I do. Especially if I really want it - and I do.

I have the most fun when I draw and learn new things and find myself to be extremely focused on the projects I get ahead of me.

“Don't think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it's good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.”

ANDY WARHOL

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”

PABLO PICASSO

“Painting is easy when you don’t know how, but very difficult when you do.”

EDGAR DEGAS
“Art is anything you can get away with.”
ANDY WARHOL
“I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what’s next.”
STEVE JOBS - APPLE
